L/C Meter
This is my new L/C meter from Phil Rices circuit. http://ironbark.bendigo.latrobe.edu.au/~rice/lc/index2.html/
It's surprisingly accurate and works on a simple old 16F628 running at 4MHz. Was pretty easy to build as I used the available board and design from Midland Amateur Radio Club - http://www.marc.org.au
The board is a little rough because my toner was running low at the time, but the tracks where wide enough not to have any breaks. I've had the finished board floating around for almost a year before I finally programmed the PIC and attached the LCD. It was really lucky that the mounting holes for the LCD cleared all but one track when I was looking for a way to mount it. I was also lucky that the only track that I would touch with a screw was a ground and the screw hole on the LCD was also a ground so it just gave the LCD a better ground! :)
